Sam Schieren lives in Richmond, Virginia. His Fiction Has been published in The Iowa Review, Notch, The End, Wigleaf, Southern Humanities Review, Gulf Coast, Soft Union, and Elsewhere. He teaches at VCU and is the Faculty Fiction Editor OF Blackbird. He won the Barry Hannah Prize for Fiction.
